The PM-3.5 is a high-performance single-ended digital panel meter with a fast 40 readings-per-second display and user-programmable LED brightness. It uses autozeroing dual-slope analog-to-digital conversion to measure DC inputs up to ±1200 V full scale, with a maximum resolution of 1 mV over ±1999 counts. The meter offers a multiplexed BCD output with optional ribbon cable connection, though care must be taken due to its TTL load output. It supports multiple operating modes, including ratiometric measurements, display blanking or leading zero control, polarity reversal, and autoranging, with independent logic and display functions enabling instant, settling-free readings even when the display is blanked.
