The handheld digital oscilloscopes offered by SIGLENT include the SHS800X and SHS1000X models. These devices feature two analog oscilloscope input channels and are available in 200 MHz and 100 MHz analog bandwidths. They are equipped with a single ADC, providing a maximum sample rate of 1 GSa/s, and a single memory module with a depth of 12 Mpts.
When both channels are enabled, each channel operates at a sample rate of 500 MSa/s with a standard record length of 6 Mpts. In the case of a single activated channel, the maximum sample rate becomes 1 GSa/s, and the maximum record length increases to 12 Mpts. The user-friendly front panel design facilitates easy access to frequently used functions.
The SHS800X series features two non-isolated scope channels and one isolated multimeter channel. On the other hand, the SHS1000X series provides full isolation between the two oscilloscope channels, one multimeter channel, power adapter, and the USB host/device port. This full isolation makes it suitable for both laboratory and floating signal measurements, minimizing the risk of accidental short circuits.
The maximum voltage input for the analog scope inputs is CATIII 600 Vrms, CATII 1000 Vrms. The multimeter has a maximum input of CATIII 600 Vrms, CATII 1000 Vrms. Utilizing Super-Phosphor Oscilloscope (SPO) technology, the SHS series ensures excellent signal fidelity and performance. It offers a vertical input range from 2 mV/div to 100 V/div and a maximum offset range of up to 400 V.
The digital trigger system delivers high sensitivity and low jitter, with a waveform capture rate of up to 400,000 frames/sec. Additional features include a 256-level intensity grading display function, a color temperature display mode, and various triggering modes such as serial bus triggering for IIC, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN bus types.
The SHS series also incorporates history waveform recording, sequential triggering, and a new 1 million point FFT math function for high-frequency resolution in signal spectra observation. The built-in sample and measurement value recorders offer flexible recording options, supporting up to 25 hours of continuous recording.
Featuring a 6000-count digital multimeter, isolated from the scope, the SHS series can measure DC/AC Voltage, DC/AC Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Diodes, and Continuity. A rechargeable 6900 mAh lithium battery provides up to 5.5 hours (4 hours for SHS1000X) of operation without charging.
The handheld oscilloscopes are housed in a sealed IP51 dust and drip-proof casing, ensuring ruggedness for harsh environments. The design includes large rubberized keys for easy use in challenging conditions.
