The SHA850A by SIGLENT, serving as a handheld portable spectrum analyzer and cable-and-antenna analyzer, proves to be a versatile tool for various field and outdoor RF applications. With an expansive frequency range reaching up to 7.5 GHz, the analyzer ensures dependable automatic measurements and supports multiple operational modes. The spectrum analyzer component, equipped with a built-in amplifier and independent signal source, boasts fast scanning speed and high sensitivity. This functionality enables it to perform tasks such as broadcast monitoring, channel power scanning, wireless interference location, power monitoring, electromagnetic compatibility, and more. The cable and antenna tester, featuring built-in DC voltage bias and a 1-path-2-port vector network analysis function, facilitates measurements including TDR, VSWR, port matching debugging, insertion loss measurement, tower amplifier debugging, cable fault location, Smith chart, and more.

The Spectrum Analyzer covers a frequency range extending from 9 kHz up to 7.5 GHz, with a displayed average noise level of -165 dBm/Hz (Typical). It exhibits -104 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset phase noise (1 GHz, Typical) and offers a minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW) ranging from 1 Hz up to 10 MHz. The analyzer features a preamplifier and independent signal source capabilities up to 7.5 GHz, along with GPS positioning and logging functionality.
